The usage of SERM Clomid

Here, we'll introduce SERM clomid common usage and clomid bodybuilding usage.

Common usage

Clomid, approved by the FDA for medical use in 1967, is a nonsteroidal selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that treats infertility in men and women primarily by stimulating sperm production and ovulation. The introduction of Clomid ushered in the era of assisted reproductive technology.

Clomid blocks the production of estrogen and stimulates the production of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) in the hypothalamus and pituitary gland. These hormones promote the maturation of follicles, increasing the chances of ovulation. Therefore, Clomid is used to treat infertility in women who do not ovulate or who ovulate too little, including women with polycystic ovary syndrome.

Bodybuilding usage

Clomid can stimulate sperm production in men and help treat male infertility.

Clomid can be used to treat male hypogonadism in place of testosterone replacement therapy.

Long-term use of AAS by male bodybuilders can lead to secondary hypogonadism. This is because exogenous AAS supplementation tricks the brain into thinking that the body is producing enough gonadal hormones to meet its needs and gradually reduces the release of endogenous testosterone. Over time, hypogonadism occurs.

When the men bodybuilder finished the AAS cycle, endogenous testosterone levels were lower and estrogen levels were higher. The body needs to readjust its hormone levels to achieve balance. Staying out of balance for a long time can have a big impact on your body. SERM Clomid lowers estrogen levels and increases testosterone to help the body recover faster.

Gynecomastia occurs when estrogen levels in men are high for a long period of time. Clomid can treat gynecomastia and prevent irreversible breast development in men.

When testosterone levels are low for a long period of time in men, it can lead to decreased sex drive, erectile dysfunction, fatigue and other symptoms. Clomid promotes the release of gonadotropin in the brain, which helps restore endogenous testosterone levels in men. Trials have shown that adherence to Clomid at 50mg/day increases testosterone levels by about 870ng/dL in young men and 490ng/dL in older men. In a study of men with low testosterone levels, testosterone levels increased from 309ng/dL to 642ng/dL in men treated with 25mg/day of clomid for 3 months.

Since Clomid blocks estrogen and increases the release of gonadotropin, this fertility treatment has become increasingly popular in bodybuilder. Clomid is already the bodybuilder pct cycle of choice.
